Jon completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science before completing his Master of Physiotherapy Practice studies at La Trobe University in 2013. In the first three years of clinical practice, he worked in the private sector, treating a range of patients including musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological conditions. He has experience dealing with patients of all ages, from those as young as 12 weeks old to aged-care residents ready to receive a letter from the Queen. Since opening up his own practice in 2017, he has been able to follow his special interest and passion in athlete rehabilitation and development.
He has experience in dealing with a wide-array of patients with varying activity levels, from the weekend-warrior and/or occasional lawn mower, to the elite level athlete. He has been involved with the Hockey Victoria Team, being the head physiotherapist for the Under 21 Men’s Team who won the National Championship in 2016. He was the Physio for the WNPL South Melbourne Football Club Senior Squad in 2020 and has also been involved in the Melbourne City FC School Program for high-level teenage soccer athletes.
Jon is currently the Head Physiotherapist for the the BIG V and VJBL Whittlesea Pacers Basketball squads.
He has also competed in various tournaments himself for sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer and powerlifting.
His goal with every patient is to develop therapeutic alliance, in order to maximise the benefits you receive from his expertise. He is very strong in educating and guiding you through your health journey. Jon believes that treatment starts with you and your story, giving you the tools you need to improve through knowledge, exercises, confidence and self-efficacy.

Kieron is The Strength & Rehab HQ's Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Over the past 5 years, Kieron has been doing what he loves, focusing on ensuring his athletes achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
His passion lies in enhancing athletic performance through evidence-based practice and specialises in strength and power development.
Kieron is currently the head of the strength and conditioning departments for multiple teams, including the Moorabbin Rams Rugby Unions Football Club, the Victorian U17’s Youth Girls 7s and Trinity Grammar School Rugby.
He has completed his Master of Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning) at Edith Cowan University and gained experience at East Tennesse State Univerisity (NCAA Div 1 & US Olympic Training Site), Geelong Cats and other state level sporting organisations.
Head of Nutrition, Personal Trainer
B.HumNut(Hons), M.DietPrac, Cert 3&4 in Fitness
Rachael is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia (DA). Having completed a Master of Dietetic Practice and a Bachelor of Human Nutrition with an Honours year at La Trobe University, Rachael is very passionate about all things related to nutrition.
Although Rachael is interested in all areas of nutrition, her particular interests include using an individualised evidence-based approach to maximise health outcomes in chronic disease management, weight management and sports performance. She strives to empower clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes to improve their overall health and wellbeing. Rachael keeps her knowledge and skills up to date by undertaking regular up-skilling and professional mentoring/development.
Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Rachael participated and competed in theatrical dance. As an adult, Rachael transitioned from dance to strength training, which led to her becoming a Personal Trainer where she focuses on assisting her clients to achieve their body composition and performance goals through training and nutrition interventions.
Rachael is a compassionate trainer who prides herself on her conscientiousness, integrity and the lasting relationships she forms with her clients.
Practice & Accounts Manager
Mady is our Practice and Accounts Manager. She is Superwoman (Early Childhood Educator) by day & Superglue (@ The HQ) by night.
She enjoys reading, painting, watching Brooklyn 99 and lifting weights. Her dedication to training has seen her improve her performance and numbers in a short amount of time.
